Tells the story of five self-sufficient women who have made radical changes in their lives and learned to live with less in order to exist in harmony with the planet. Through them we explores the history of Ecofeminism- a new reflection on the changing relationship between women and nature.
“Some people forecast that genuine revolution will only come through women. Female achievements when taking part in public life, work and politics are already important and historic… Women are no longer invisible; they are becoming, in many cases, major figures of contemporary life. They use common sense as the engine for their moves, make generosity with others their virtue, and being brave shields them from society. The female revolution will be different from any other: it will be peaceful and quiet, harmony will be encouraged, and it will not raise hate, but empathy. Power and solidarity will replace violence and egoism; care will grow instead of destruction.”
